The format is a round robin, with each team participating in at least 3 games. There will be a championship game in each bracket. There will be NO ADMISSION CHARGE FOR SPECTATORS. Tickets will be sold at the door for raffle baskets. Since this event is a fundraiser for our basketball association, and there is no charge for spectators, please encourage your families to support the raffles, and concession stand. Thank you! We encourage you to get your registration and payment in, as soon as possible. Registrations will be accepted on a “first come, first serve” basis. The deadline is December 7th. All brackets are to be finalized tentatively by December 14th. Only teams sponsored by local townships or schools will be welcome. Teams formed, and organized, only by parents will not be accepted into the tournament. The same holds true for AAU, and/or All-Star, teams where players come from more than one township. Teams of this type will not be accepted. A team roster form is also included here, but does not need to be sent in with your registration. This can be submitted at a later time if your roster is still being finalized. Coaches must be able to produce copies of birth certificates, if requested. Once the tournament begins, there can be no roster changes. The tournament committee will only reschedule games cancelled due to inclement weather. The brackets will not be altered after December 15th. PTBBA will provide two paid referees per game. All players on the team must live in the SAME SCHOOL DISTRICT and be in the respective grade level. Players can play UP in grade, but never DOWN in grade. No player can play for more than one team at any grade level, unless there are extenuating circumstances. There will be a wide range of concession items, including various hot foods, hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, pretzels, snacks, beverages, etc., available for purchase at the concession stand of the CRC. Snacks & beverages will be available at the PT Middle School. All Team Members and Fans must comply with the policies of the CRC & other gyms during the games. No drinks or food items are permitted in the gym area. The track area, above the gym in the CRC, is not permitted to be used during the tournament, unless the person is a member of the facility. Please provide a list of dates or times your team is not available to play. Identify these requests in the “Special Requests/Comments” section of the registration form. We will accommodate as many conflicts as possible, but there are no guarantees.
