SLOW SIMMER CHILI INGREDIENTS:

3lb Ground Beef 1Tsp Thyme 1Tsp Cumin Seeds 2 Bay Leaves ¼Tsp Oregano 2Tbs Paprika 3Tbs Brown Sugar

1Tsp Salt 1Cup Chopped Onions 1Tsp Garlic Powder 1Tsp Dried Cilantro 1Tsp Cayenne Pepper 46oz V-8 Juice 16oz Peeled Tomatoes

DIRECTIONS:

Brown ground beef, drain excess liquid. Sautee onions until translucent. Add meat and onions to large crockpot / stockpot. Add peeled tomatoes. Add Beans. Add V-8 Juice. Add dry ingredients. Stir to combine dry and wet ingredients. Cook for 7-8 hours on medium high heat. Remove Bay Leaves. Serve with toppings of your choice.

OCTOBER PUMPKIN BREAD INGREDIENTS:

3 Cups Sugar 2 Tsp Baking Soda 1-½ Tsp Salt 1 Tsp Ground Cloves 4 Whole Eggs 1 Cup Oil 3 Strips Aluminum Foil 3-1/3 Cups Flour ½ Tbs Baking Powder 1 Tsp Nutmeg 1 Tsp Cinnamon 1 Can Pumpkin (15 Oz.) 1 Cup Water

DIRECTIONS:

Add wet ingredients (eggs, pumpkin, oil, water) to the dry ingredients all at once. Mix well with a mixer till smooth. Grease 3 loaf pans (9×4) and pour equal amounts of the batter into each pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour. You’ll know it’s ready when the top will start cracking and when you put a toothpick/knife in, it comes out clean. Set out to cool for about 5 minutes.

Here’s the trick to keeping it SUPER moist: After letting it cool for about 5 minutes, take out a roll of aluminum foil. Pull out a large piece and then turn over the pan to drop one of the loaves right in the middle. Quickly fold the foil over and secure very tightly then set aside and let it cool off while being wrapped in the foil.

GREEN SLIME SODA INGREDIENTS:

¼ Cup Lime Juice 3 Tbs Sugar 1 Scoop Lime Sherbet (or 1 Scoop Lime Sorbet) 1 Cup Sparkling Water

DIRECTIONS:

Stir the sugar into the lime juice until it is dissolved. Then add the sparkling water. Lastly, add the lime sherbet and stir gently to mix.
