Score Adjustments

Score Adjustments SofTest Score Adjustments allow you to adjust exam taker scores after an assessment has been taken. Adjustments can include increasing or decreasing a student’s final score. This can be done on individual exam takers or can be added to multiple exam takers at once.

Score Adjustments 1.

Open an assessment that has been taken by students and scored.

Click on the Exam Taker Activity tab.

Click the

in the upper right hand corner of the list to add columns. You will need to add the Score Adjustments column.

When adding this column, the Final Score and Original Score columns will be added as well. 4.

You can view the student’s unadjusted score in the Original Score column. Enter any adjustments in the Score Adjustment column. 

To add points to an exam taker’s score, you will enter + then the number of points you want the students score to be increased by.



To deduct points from an exam taker’s, you will enter - then the number of points you want the students score to be decreased by.

After making all needed adjustments, click Save Score Adjustments.

Bulk-Editing Score Adjustments

To remove your score adjustments, you will need to clear the score adjustments filed then click Save.

1.

Open an assessment that has been taken by students and scored.

2.

Click on the Exam Taker Activity tab.

3.

Check next to all students that need the adjustment made. If you wish to check all students, then you can check the checkbox at the top of the student list.

4.

Select Adjust Scores to Selected from drop down at the bottom of the screen.

5.

Indicate needed score adjustment in the modal window and click Save.

6.

You will see adjustments in the Score Adjustment column for all of the selected students.

7.

Click Save Score Adjustments.
