Complete game statistics will ve abaliable approximately seven minutes after the conclusion of each game. The Paul Wright Gym scorers tables and table seating near the south press box will house the media, media relations personnel and game operations personnel. Questions regarding press accomodations or requests for credentials should be made through the Western State Sports Information Office. Head Coach Mike Moskowitz Mike Moskowitz enters his third season as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Western State. He led the Mountaineers to their best season in a decade in his second season of 2008-09. Prior to becoming the head coach, Moskowitz was named interim head coach in 2007 and served as an assistant with the Mountaineer program from 2005-07. Moskowitz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience not only about the game of basketball, but the conference in which his team will compete in. He is a regular speaker and presenter at a number of camps and clinics in Colorado. Moskowitz also published an article "Let's be Clever" in the May 2007 issue of Scholastic's "Coach and Athletic Director." Prior to arriving in Gunnison, Moskowitz served as an assistant at two fellow RMAC institutions, (Mesa State 99-00 and Adams State 00-04). In 2004 he was named the head coach at Si Tanka University where he led the Eagles to an appearance in the conference tournament after going 10-17. In 2005 he had the great opportunity to serve as an assistant on Team USA which competed in the Maccabiah games in Israel. With nearly 10 years of experience in the Rocky Mountain region, his familiarity with high school and junior college coaches will prove to make him one of the top recruiters in the region. He believes in instilling strong character and passionate individuals into his program whose personal goals are out weighted by those of the team’s accomplishments.

Moskowitz received his B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Exercise Science from Adams State College in 2003. His wife Katie, the Western State Head Volleyball Coach, and their two sons, Myles and Elliot reside in Gunnison.

Complete game statistics will ve abaliable approximately seven minutes after the conclusion of each game. The Paul Wright Gym scorers tables and table seating near the south press box will house the media, media relations personnel and game operations personnel. Questions regarding press accomodations or requests for credentials should be made through the Western State Sports Information Office. Official Web Site: WSCATHLETICS.com (contains game notes, statistics, rosters, schedules, photos and news about the Mountaineers Credentials Requests for press, broadcast and photo credentials and seating space for all Western State home basketball games should be made in advance by contacting the Western State Sports Information Office. Requests received less than 24 hours prior to tipoff can not be guaranteed. Photographers must remain within NCAA-designated photo areas. The Western State Sports Information staff has the discretion to refuse credentials or revoke credentials at any time. Interviews Head Coach Mike Moskowitz will be made available approximately 10 minutes after the conclusion of all Western State home games. The designated areas for Moskowitz’s post-game interviews is outside the locker room in Paul Wright Gym.

Head Coach Mike Moskowitz Mike Moskowitz enters his third season as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Western State. He led the Mountaineers to their best season in a decade in his second season of 2008-09. Prior to becoming the head coach, Moskowitz was named interim head coach in 2007 and served as an assistant with the Mountaineer program from 2005-07. Moskowitz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience not only about the game of basketball, but the conference in which his team will compete in. He is a regular speaker and presenter at a number of camps and clinics in Colorado. Moskowitz also published an article "Let's be Clever" in the May 2007 issue of Scholastic's "Coach and Athletic Director." Prior to arriving in Gunnison, Moskowitz served as an assistant at two fellow RMAC institutions, (Mesa State 99-00 and Adams State 00-04). In 2004 he was named the head coach at Si Tanka University where he led the Eagles to an appearance in the conference tournament after going 10-17. In 2005 he had the great opportunity to serve as an assistant on Team USA which competed in the Maccabiah games in Israel. With nearly 10 years of experience in the Rocky Mountain region, his familiarity with high school and junior college coaches will prove to make him one of the top recruiters in the region. He believes in instilling strong character and passionate individuals into his program whose personal goals are out weighted by those of the team’s accomplishments.

Moskowitz received his B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Exercise Science from Adams State College in 2003. His wife Katie, the Western State Head Volleyball Coach, and their two sons, Myles and Elliot reside in Gunnison.
