2009-2010 Season in Review Lakers Battle Opponents and Nature For the Oswego State men’s tennis team, the only thing tougher than their opponents was Mother Nature. With inclement weather hitting the area at the most unlikely times in the fall, the Lakers and their 12-player roster were able to squeeze in six matches during the spring schedule to compete in nine contests in 2009-10. Despite being outmatched in most of their matches, Oswego State demonstrated a true passion of the game through its hard work and perseverance over the season’s obstacles. The season’s opponents included the likes of Oneonta, Elmira, RIT, Onondaga Community College, Roberts Wesleyan, and St. John Fisher.
