Consideration of PHS Driver’s Education Fees – Jon Bishop (Action/Goals 1 & 2 – Student Achievement & Resource Management)

Commentary: Pittsburg High School is proposing to charge a $20, non-refundable, fee for the drivers education program for fall and spring semester. We are also proposing a $50 summer charge in the event that we are able to offer summer instruction. This will allow us to determine future programming to help offset costs. We want there to be a little investment on the part of the student to ensure the follow through in completing the course. Recommended Motion: I move approval of the recommended fees for the PHS driver’s education program. Motion: _______________ Second: _______________ 9.0
