KYLE CIEPLICKI ‘08 | Associate Head Coach • Enters his fifth season on the Vermont men’s basketball staff. • He was promoted to associate head coach in May of 2015 after serving as an assistant coach since 2011. He started his coaching career at Vermont as the team’s director of operations for one year. • Cieplicki returned to his alma mater after spending two years as an assistant coach at Brown. • Cieplicki was the first three-year captain in the history of the Vermont men’s basketball team.

RYAN SCHNEIDER | Assistant Coach • Begins his third season with the UVM coaching staff. • Came to UVM following a season as an assistant coach at Northfield Mount Hermon where he helped the program win the 2013 Prep School National Championship for the first time in school history. • Schneider spent the 2011-12 season as an assistant coach at Brown University and was responsible for player development of the guards, wings and forwards. He also assisted in many other aspects of the program during his stint in Providence. • MAAC All-Academic Team and was an ESPN Academic All-American as a senior at Marist.

HAMLET TIBBS | Assistant Coach • 2016-17 marks his third season with the program. • Comes to UVM after five seasons coaching at The Albany Academy in Albany, N.Y. and five seasons coaching in the Albany City Rocks program. • He coached one ESPN Top 100 Player, one USA U18 player and had players invited to the Kevin Durant and LeBron James Skills Academy with the Albany City Rocks. • Tibbs is a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University and holds a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix.

KIAN DOLYRIMPLE | #15 • Freshman • Guard • 6-4 • 177 • Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills West • Averaged 18.1 points per game as a senior. • Set a school record by knocking down 73 three-pointers as a senior. • Adds to an already potent Catamount arsenal from beyond the arc (UVM led America East in 3Pt FG% in 2015-16 - 38.2%). • New York Newsday All-Long Island Team selection as a senior. • Guided the Half Hollow Hills West to a Suffolk County AA semifinal appearance.

SAM DINGBA | #5 • Junior • Forward • 6-5 • 205 • Yaounde, Cameroon/Salisbury School • Transfer from Quinnipiac University after spending two years with the Bobcats. • Played in 45 career games for Quinnipiac and made 10 starts as a sophomore. • Scored a career-high six points and added seven rebounds against the Catamounts in a matchup at Patrick Gym a year ago. • Dingba will sit out the 2016-17 season due to NCAA transfer rules and have two years of eligibility remaining.

ANTHONY LAMB | #3 • Freshman • Forward • 6-6 • 227 • Rochester, N.Y./Greece Athena • Laced up for the Albany City Rocker during AAU. • One of four finalists for New York State Mr. Basketball as a senior. • Lamb was a two-time Greater Rochester Player of the Year while cementing himself as one of the best in the state as a senior. • Averaged 30 points and 17 rebounds per game during a senior season that saw his Greece Athena Trojans advance to the New York Section V Class AI Final.

BEN SHUNGU | #0 • Freshman • Guard • 6-2 • 200 • Burlington, Vt./Rice Memorial • • • •

A two-time Burlington Free Press Mr. Basketball selection. Three-time state champion at Rice Memorial High School. Averaged 21.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 3.2 steals per game as a senior. Led the Green Knights to their sixth straight appearance in the Division I final at Patrick Gym. • First Rice grad to suit up for the Catamounts since big man Pat Bergmann did so from 2009 to 2012.

JOSH SPEIDEL | #32 • Freshman • Forward • 6-7 • 210 • Columbus, Ind./Columbus North • Speidel is removed from a February 2015 car crash that left him with a traumatic brain injury. Before the crash, Speidel was one of the top high school basketball players in the state of Indiana. • He joined the Catamounts several times last season and sat on the bench for games at Purdue and Florida while experiencing Patrick Gym for the first time in January against Stony Brook. • NCAA has granted a waiver for him to participate with UVM and not use a year of eligib.
