October is a very busy month for us. We were very lucky this year to have had 4 weather permitting Hay Ride days in which we grossed over $23,000. This was a unique Haunted Hay Ride. First, it was the 20th year of this event; second, we had 56 Lions participate—an astounding number and we had many more volunteers. The Naugatuck Drama class even volunteered—they were the Zombie eaters in the Cemetery—man, did they look real even with the lights on. There is no sufficient word to describe the Haunted Barn.
Lion Eric Groody you did an outstanding job to the point that you should be awarded an Oscar. I would also like to thank Lion Ray Manzi– the civil war re-enactment was magnificent, especially the thin Civil war soldier with gray hair (Lion Dave Ahouse). The werewolves were plentiful this year—16 in all. Instead of continuing with this diatribe I feel the following photos will give all

Hollow Pavilion Dedicated to Lion Robert Keating At the October Board of Directors Meeting Lion Billy B proposed to name the Pavilion the Robert P. Keating Memorial Pavilion. The motion was immediately seconded and passed. This is the fastest and unified piece of legislation I have ever seen. That’s because Lion Robert Keating was such a dedicated and respected person. His work and his dedication will always be remembered! The dedication ceremony will be
