The illustrious Joureny Lee Kennedy, was born to Julia Kennedy and the late Gary Lee Kennedy on December 13, 1994 in Durham NC. Joureny entered into eternal rest and peace on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He attended the Public Schools of Robeson County were he received his high school diploma. He rejoined First Baptist Church in 2012. Later on in life he became an employee of W.C. Playtime. He enjoyed dancing and playing basketball, but most of all he loved kids and they loved him too. Joureny was a sweet loving and caring son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. He touched the hearts of many people with a smile, or a joke. Joureny was preceded in death by his father, Gary Kennedy, one brother, Garrett Alford and one aunt, Sandra Patrick. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Juila Kennedy of Lumberton, NC; two brothers, Kendrick (Tammy) Alford and Isaiah Kennedy of Greensboro, NC; one sister, Destinie Alford, two grandmothers, Hazel Kennedy and Mary Alford, a grandfather figure, Tommy Chat Champan and a grandmother figure, Callie Ramsey, three nieces, Deleahia, Emanie, and Ta’myla, four nephews, Kamauri, Patrick Jr., Juwellz, A’ligah, two aunts, Renee Alford, and Lisa (Darryl) Thomas of Madison, NC; four uncles, Victor (Coretta) Alford, Darryl Kennedy and John Kennedy of CA; George (Stephanie) Kennedy of DE, three greataunts, Ruth McCall, Lena Storke, Barbara Rowe, of NC; two great-uncles, W.D.
