Timberland Summary Figure 9, LLC This is a brief timber summary of the Figure 9, LLC Properties along the MS/AL state line and in Jasper County, MS. The properties in AL are mostly suited as investment timberland while the Jasper County property has timberland investment and recreational value. None of the sites in AL offer wet weather logging but have excellent timber growth potential. The site in Jasper County has well drained, hard clay soils that offer wet weather logging and excellent recreational value.

Parcel 1- +/-80 Acres in Section 19, Township 3 North, Range 4 West, Washington County, Alabama. The pine timber on the property consisted mainly of similarly aged slash pine plantation about 16-17 years of age. There are about 15 acres south of the road that has not been thinned. About half of the plantation North of the road has been recently thinned. There is about 17 acres along the North property line that appear to stay pretty wet and consists mainly of hardwood drain.

Parcel 2- +/-79.77 Acres (+/- 20 acres Section 36, Township 4 North, Range 5 West lying West of Alabama-Mississippi state line in Greene County, Mississippi AND +/- 59.77 Section 36, Township 4 North, Range 5 West, lying East of the Alabama-Mississippi state line in Washington County, AL less and except approximately .23 acres for a total of +/79.77 acres). The pine timber is very similar to that on Parcel 1. It appears to have recently been thinned. There are a few spots that were not thinned, but don’t appear to be low lying. The entire tract looks to be high, productive, ground suitable for pine production. There is a ¼ mile of paved road frontage along the East side that crosses the SE corner. This would allow the tract to be subdivided, therefore adding some value.

Parcel 3-+/- 330 Acres in Section 24, Township 5 North, Range 5 West and Sections 19 and 30, Township 5 North, Range 4 West, Washington County, Alabama. This property is primarily suited for timber investment. There is no public road frontage, but there is access via a good gravel road. Whether that access is deeded or not is unknown. There are 3 different age classes on the property. The ages and acreages are from timber data provided by the owner and are as follows. There is +/-185 acres of well-prepared longleaf pines. The long leaf looked to be about 2 years old. There are +/- 52 acres that consist of 13 year old loblolly pine plantation. There are +/-60 acres in 17 year old pine plantation that has been thinned. The remaining 33 acres consist of hardwood bottom.

Parcel 4- +/-390.5 Acres in Sections 14 and 15, Township 1 North, Range 11 East, Second Judicial District, Jasper County, Mississippi. The pine timber consists of approximately 17 year old loblolly plantation that has been thinned once. The topography is mostly rolling well drained soils, but there is a large drain through the property consisting of +/-80 acres. This drain would make a great lake site adding to the recreational value. There is nice hardwood timber in the streamside management zone. There are some camps on the property that appear to be leased to a hunting club.
