Association Introduction Micro World Association is an organization committed to developing entrepreneurship, business skills, business sensibilities, leadership and citizenship in its participants through a number of unique programs. The association is founded by undergraduate and graduate students in United States’ best universities, including Harvard University, Stanford University, Duke University and Columbia University, and students in China’s best universities. Micro World Association’s flagship program, the Micro Biz! National Future Business Leader Summit is an annual summer conference of exploration and development for Chinese high-school students.
Project Introduction 1. Background Introduction Business simulation is simulation used for business training or analysis. It can be scenario-based or numeric-based. Most business simulations are used for business acumen training and development. Learning objectives include: strategic thinking, financial analysis, market analysis, operations, teamwork and leadership. In US over 200 business games are being used by nearly 9,000 teachers at over 1,700 colleges offering business programs. As Chinese education is reforming, more and more high school students are participating in various extracurricular activities. But there are limited business training programs in China and each has there own disadvantages. Thus, Micro World Association starts up a new mode of business education and business simulation. This will be the first time in China that high school students can experience the scenario simulation of daily business running. 2. Micro Biz! Project Introduction The Summit will be divided into two parts:
Micro MBA Future Business Leader Training Program In this part, participants will get training (in English) in various business subjects. College students will act as tutors, helping each class (10-15 students) learn the ideas of business and discuss different cases. There will also be various workshops. Course Lists (Sample)—— Basic Project Management Course； Basic Corporate Administration and Finance Course； Business Plan Writing and Skills of Venture Capital Investment; Marketing and Selling Course;

Micro Econ Business Simulation In this business simulation, a scenario is played out in a simulated environment and the learner or user is asked to make individual or team based decisions on how to act in the simulations. Often multiple choice alternatives are used and the scenario is played out following a branching tree based on which decisions the learner makes. Throughout or at certain intervals feedback is provided. These are similar to role-play simulations. The working language will be Chinese.
