Stage 03 – “Standards Stage” Designed by: Pioneer IDPA, [email protected] START POSITION: Standing at P1, facing down range hands relaxed at side, gun SCORING: Limited count, 18 rounds. loaded to exactly 6 rounds and holstered. Remaining ammo carriers loaded to TARGETS: 6 IDPA 3 NT SCORED HITS: Best 2 hits to the division capacity and stowed on body per IDPA rules. body and 1 hit to the head. PROCEDURE: START-STOP: Audible – Last shot STRING 1: On the signal, draw & engage targets T1-T6 with one (1) round each. CONCEALMENT: NOT Required Reload & engage targets T1-T6 with one (1) round each while advancing to P2. DISTANCE: P1 to T1-T6 = 10 yds. STRING 2: Standing at P2, draw & engage targets T1-T6 with one (1) round each, P2 to T1-T6 = 5 yds. while retreating. SO/SETUP NOTES: Shooter must choose between strong hand, support hand and freestyle for each engagement, but must have used all 3 styles upon completion of the stage. This stage is limited. Any extra shots fired will result in the shooter’s best hits removed from the target for each additional shot fired and a procedural assessed. MUZZLE SAFE POINTS: Muzzle Safe Points are designated by the orange flags and/or the 180.
