Using forums to find reviewers who will leave an honest review of your book is similar to other methods talked about so far. The idea is to seek out forums where people who would be interested in your book like to congregate and then contacting them in such a way that it leads to them reading your book and leaving a review of it on Amazon. The way this would typically be done is: Post on these forums announcing a “free giveaway” of your book to those who simply ask for it Once people are interested they’re directed to a webpage you’ve set up where they’ll submit their email in order to have your book sent to them You give these people your book through Amazon Then send a follow-up email later asking for a review To track down these forums simply performing a search for them on Google will lead you to them. Something like “romance novel forum” would get results. Just mix and match your search words to find different yet related forums to post around looking for reviews. The way you want to word your posts in forums isn’t “I’m looking for reviews” but instead “I’m offering x-amount of copies to anyone who requests them” or something of that sort. Offer your book for free and then proceed to provide your book as mentioned above.
