Re: Denial of Right to Speak June 4, 2015 Agenda Item 3 Dear Mayor Jaimie Matthews I have lived and grown up in Santa Clara County. I also work at VTA and am proud to say that I am a Member of SEIU. Wages at VTA, according the management’s own numbers, are well below the average wages paid in the Bay Area for similar work. Meanwhile, VTA has every contingency fund stuffed to the maximum limit. I am requesting that you direct VTA Management to come to the negotiations table with a fair and reasonable compensations package, not only keeps pace with inflation, but also adjusts salaries to VTA workers are paid wages similar to those at the other Transit Agencies and Municipalities in the Bay Area.

Sincerely, Cecilia Crowder VTA
