JOCK’s Annual BBQ Run began in the parking lot of Peter’s Landing. Since the start was in WET CLAM’s backyard (literally), she brought 3 or 4 new boots along with her. Other first timers included Just Wilfred, who would eventually be named MAXWELL STUPID. The hares took off promptly and headed down PCH towards the wetlands. The hares laid some clever checks and falses and the pack ended up staying pretty much together. When we reached Jack in the Box, the trail took us out to the beach. When we returned to Peter’s Landing we found that JOCK had rented Duffy boats for our transportation across the water to the site of the BBQ. The BBQ, as usual, was fabulous. We had hot dogs, hamburgers, and some great side dishes. KAMMANA brought Big Pink out for the occasion, and he proudly compared himself to the smaller wieners on the grill. Beer wench JUST JAMMIT arranged the down-down cups to spell out LBH3. GM’s PINKY and CRACK presided at down-downs which included a 500 run patch for UNDERCOVER, 50 run patches for MICRO and POOR PIECE OF SHIT, and a 25 run patch for MORNING COCKTAIL. SIR LANCE-A-NUT attempted to nominate BUSTER for Hashit, but revealed that he knew too much about BUSTER’s sex life (can you say ‘backfire”?), so of course, LANCE ended up with the sacred plunger. This run won the award for Best On-On of 2007.

Jock's 25th (and maybe Final) BBQ Run: Tour Of Beautiful Downtown Moneta Run:1349, August 6th, 6:30 p.m. Hares: Jock & Pack My Chute Location: Artesia, Starts At Artesia Transit Center, 182nd St. & Hoover (Opposite Home Depot) From Long Beach take 405 North to Main St. in Carson. Head North to Albertoni and turn left (West), paralleling the 91 Freeway. Drive until you cross Figueroa (about 2 miles) where Albertoni turns into 182nd St. Go under 110 Freeway and make a immediate right on Hoover. Park on East side of Artesia Transit (Bus) Center. Use Thomas Guide or MapQuest to figure out how to get to 182nd and Hoover from the 110 or 91 Freeways. Bring $5.00 for BBQ at the OnOn. In case you did not know, downtown Moneta has a beautiful shopping street that rivals 2nd Street in Belmont Shore; and a few good Yuppie bars! This trail has shiggy, dust, street running and a few other obstacles to recommend it to Hashers. It is longer than most PMC/Jock runs. There is at least one beer check, two Turkey/Eagle splits and one or two short fences to scale. With ingenuity, there are also alternate flat routes available to the Stroller Hashers and Hashing Dogs. Mrs. Jock's killer potato salad and Brown Thumb's three bean salad are only two of the delicacies to be served with the gourmet hamburgers, hot dogs (from Bree's Meats -"You can't beat Bree's Meats!")and baked beans at the BBQ when you FINALLY get there. Jockalyn is back in town as are Baby Jock and PMC's aides son Chris, Mike and Ms. Mike. Since a Run # 1349 is not listed in the Hare Line, this must be a great run because it takes up two run numbers. Nice Hair Fag has condescended to Scribe this after some arm twisting and 4 Highs. Don't miss the Beer Check!!! Bring money (put it in your sock) if you also find a nice bar to stay in. Fresh socks and shoes recommended, especially for the Eagles!!!!
