The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He renews my life; He leads me along the right paths for His name’s sake. Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff—they

comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in£ the house of the LORD as

long as I live.

Psalm 23 The Provisional Shepherd (v.1) The Renewing Shepherd (v.2-3) The Comforting Shepherd (v.4-5)

The Pursuing Shepherd (v.6)

I am at rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will never be shaken. How long will you threaten a man? Will all of you attack as if he were a leaning wall or a tottering stone fence? They only plan to bring him down from his high position.

They take pleasure in lying;

they bless with their mouths, but they curse inwardly. Rest in God alone, my soul, for my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will not be shaken. My salvation and glory depend on God; my strong rock, my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out

your hearts before Him. God is our refuge.

Men are only a vapor; exalted men, an illusion. On a balance scale, they go up; together they

weigh less than a vapor. Place no trust in oppression, or false hope in robbery. If wealth

increases, pay no attention to it. God has spoken once; I have heard this twice: strength belongs to God,

and faithful love belongs to You, LORD. For You repay each according to his works.

Psalm 62 The Fortress God (v.1-2) The Tactical Opposition (v.3-4) The Sanctuary God (v.5-8)

The Empty Wealth (v.9-10) The Just & Loving God (v.11-12)

What about You? Where do you find your solace?

Where do you find your refuge?
