Best Seller Coaching: Module 9 – Lesson 4 – Auditions
Once you’ve posted your book to ACX and it’s open for auditions you’ll probably start to receive a number of requests from narrators who would like to read for your book. ACX has an entire dashboard dedicated to this specifically and it gives you access to things such as: The audition script you’ve posted if you wish to double check it You can listen to someone’s voice by playing a clip of it in the dashboard It’s a good idea to download the voice clips as the built-in audio player tends to make people’s voices sound… not so good The ability to make an offer Set the expectation of delivery
You can sample audio clip auditions from inside the website You also have the option to search through narrators and find someone who you feel is a good fit to record the narration for your book. There are a number of different filters you can implement into your search and what you’ll wind up with is a list of potential narrators. From there you just listen to their voices and compile a list of people you’d like to pitch your book to. Once you find someone who’s interested you just have to strike up a deal and get the process underway. www.servenomaster.com
