Item Introduction of Board Members Move to Red Bank Park this summer. Brian motion. B. Flake 1st and B. Woodard 2nd. – All in favor. Items for the new park Not to build new press boxes – Just have a storage area for score boxes. T. West to get cost of P.A. System Have the county move field on left to league softball size and add two new t-ball fields in the outfield. Duties B. Flake request that everyone to take on the responsibility of their duties of being a board member. This includes their assigned duties as outlined in the bi-laws and any additional unassigned duties. Filling vacant Positions Coaches Coordinator o Al Gonzalez has missed the whole fall season and 3 consecutive meetings. Burnie motion to remove Al Gonzalez and replace him with Tommy West. B. Flake 1st and C. Maron 2nd – All in Favor Fundraising Coordinator o B. Flake motion to appoint Michael Sims. T. West 1st and B. Flake 2nd – All in Favor Financial Report – General and Canteen
Summer Softball Program – R. Kitchings motion to have. B. Flake 1st and C. Maron 2nd. – All in Favor Cost – $20.00 Uniform – Shirt with LGS Logo and Summer Skills Camp 2015 Age groups – 6U, 8U, 10U, 12 and 16U Combine Dates – July 6-27 on Mondays at 6:30 pm Registration dates – June 22 and June 29 at the fields Coaches – T. West will get the coaches Registration – R. Kitchings will handle B. Kitchings Revise of the bi-laws will have to be addressed this summer. Registration dates for the Fall July 1 on-line, Aug 21, 22 at the fields. Mandatory Board Meeting on Aug 22 after Registration ends Mandatory Coaches meeting – Sunday Aug 23 at 3:00 pm at park Mandatory Draft Meeting- Thursday, Aug 27 at 6:00 pm at Lexington First Baptist Church Next Board meeting Monday, 6/8/2015 at Red Bank Fields
