Before you solder Before you solder, follow the cut line (grooved line) to break the circuit boards TU-879R A-E into individual pieces. There are grooved lines on both sides of the circuit board. Gently use the edge of a table to break them. Follow the instructions step-by-step. Check off the box after you have soldered each component. When soldering, be sure to read “The Key to Soldering.”

It is recommended to put a towel or the like under the component parts before beginning to avoid damaging the chassis. 1) Peel off the seal covering the ground points on the back of the shield panel. (Total of 3 locations)

2) Fix 3 large screw spacers (hexagon, M3x15mm) to the shield panel with 3 (M3x8mm) flat head screws and 3 small crow washers (for M3). Large screw spacer (hexagon) (M3x15mm)(3x)

M3 small crow washer (3X)

M3x8mm flat head screw (3X)

Set the crow washers to the flat head screws, and put them through the holes in the shield panel. Screw the flat head screws with washers tightly into the holes.

3) Fix PCB-A (soldering side) to the screw spacers in Step 2 with M3x8mm (black) round head screws and crow washers (for M3). M3x8mm round head screw (black) (3X) Small crow washer (for M3) (3X) PCB-A Components on PCB-A have been omitted.

Be careful not to clip the grey wire! Check to ensure the screws of the toggle switch have been tightly screwed into the shield panel. Do not forget to set the crow washers to M3x8mm round head screws (black)! (Do not use a washer for the toggle switch.)

4) Fix the power transformer to the shield panel with M4x5mm round head screws and large crow washer (for M4). Do not forget to set the Crow washers!

5) Install the volume control with a washer and a nut into the Ushaped cutout portion on the shield panel.
