Sow thinly on the surface of a moist seed compost. Cover with polythene and place in the fridge 0-5˚C (32-40˚F) for three weeks. Remove tray and place in a greenhouse/ indoors at approx. 18-21˚C (65-70˚F). Do not exclude light and remove polythene when seeds germinate, usually 30-90 days.Transplant resulting seedlings spaced out 5cm (2") apart in trays and grow on. Plant out about 30cm (12") apart in a well drained position. May also be sown direct outdoors in April/June.
