Sow the very small seed thinly in pots or trays on a windowsill, in a propagator or in a greenhouse at approx. 18-20°C (65-70°F) onto a good quality, finely sieved, moist compost. Do not cover the seed as it requires light to germinate, but place a sheet of glass or polythene over the tray to conserve moisture. Protect from direct sunlight (Germination 15-50 days). As the seedlings develop transplant spacing them out 5cm (2") apart in seed trays and grow on. Plant out after carefully acclimatising to outside conditions 20cm (8") apart.
HELPFUL HINT At the end of the summer lift and pot selected plants, and bring them indoors to provide winter colour. Quality Control: This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high germination. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place. Important: The seed in this packet is very small and should be handled with care.
