Competition Rules, Terms and Conditions. The Bellwether Revivals Bookclub competition 1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of the Competition Rules, Terms and Conditions. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these Competition Rules, Terms and Conditions. 2. By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Competition Rules, Terms and Conditions (and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material) which may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter. 3. The Promoter is Simon & Schuster Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 84 000 945 380, Suite 19A, Level 1, Building C, 450 Miller Street Cammeray NSW 2062. 4. Entry is open to all residents of Australian and New Zealand over the age of 18. 5. The competition commences at 9.00am, March 1, 2012 AEST and concludes at 11.59pm, March 15, 2012 AEST. The time of entry will in each case be the time the entry is received by the Promoters database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including entries not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason. 6. One entry per person only. 7. Enter by filling in the sweepstakes form and describing your bookclub and 10 words or less. 8. Entries must include all requested contact details, the last book their bookclub read and a description of their bookclub in 10 words or less to be eligible to win. Each entry will be judged based on skill, creativity and originality. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. 9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. This includes, but not limited, to entrants and households using multiple email addresses, postal addresses or PO Box addresses. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause. 10. The winners will be the best valid entries as judged by a judging panel of employees at Simon & Schuster Australia. 11. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 12. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email by March 20, 2012. The winners’ names will be announced publicly through the Promoters Twitter and Facebook networks and will be published at www.simonandschuster.com.au

13. The winners will be notified by telephone and/or email, using the details provided in the entry. Books will be sent within 2 weeks of the winner being notified, subject to availability. The winners will be notified of any delays via telephone and/or email. 14. Every effort will be made to contact the winners. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner to claim fulfillment of the promotional prize and the prize is unclaimed within 7 days from March 20, 2012, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on March 28, 2012 at Simon and Schuster Australia, Building C, Level 1, 450 Miller Street Cammeray, NSW, 2062. The Promoter will not be liable for a winner who cannot be contacted and therefore forfeits their prize. Every effort will be made to contact winners for the time period of two weeks and no correspondence will be entered into. 15. The Promoter makes all reasonable efforts to deliver prizes to the addresses provided by competition entrants. The Promoter cannot guarantee that any prizes returned to the Promoter due to non-delivery at the provided address will be re-sent to the prize winner. 16. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter who may publish any of the entries received. 17. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not exclusively infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. 18. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition. 19. First prize consists of: Up to 25 copies of The Bellwether Revivals by Benjamin Wood (valued at $29.99 each). 20. The total value of the prize pack is up to $749.75 as of 28/02/12. 21. All prize items are valued inclusive of GST and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in item values. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value. 22. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes; accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to prizes in transit; and accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected registrations.

23. The Promoter is not liable, to the extent permitted by law, for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner. 24. The Promoter collects the entrants’ personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this competition (including, but not limited to, determining and notifying winners). The Promoter will only use and store the entrants personal information for the purposes disclosed to the entrant, including sharing it with any other organisation that helps the Promoter provide the goods or services eg. The delivery of prizes. Entrants will only receive marketing material from the Promoter if they check the appropriate boxe(s) on the entry form.
