Who is GOD? — ONE GOD: FATHER, SON (JESUS CHRIST) & HOLY SPIRIT —
The Bible teaches us there is ONE GOD — 3-Persons-in-One — a Christian foundation called the TRINITY: GENESIS 1:26 “Let us make man in our own image.” The biblical word “Elohim” for God is a plural noun yet it’s always used with a singular verb. “In the beginning, God (Elohim — plural) created (singular)…” MATTHEW 28:19 “…baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,” 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.” See also: MATT. 3:16-17, I PETER 1:1-2, I COR. 12:4-6, 2 COR. 13:4. 20+ NAMES FOR GOD: How does the Bible describe GOD & His Divine Nature? It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves…” REVELATION 4:11 — “Thou are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Creation identifies GOD (He is worthy of worship).
