Dynex Extrusions Ltd has a strong commitment to environmentally sound production and believes in the importance of sustainable manufacturing, therefore is proactive in reducing and recycling waste. Palliside is a sustainable weatherboard system manufactured from 100% recyclable material. During the manufacture of Palliside Dynex has implemented management strategies and programs in the areas of: • Improving our understanding of the impacts that our business might have on the environment and minimise any impact we may have. • Promote and manage energy and water efficiency in all our operations and incorporate effective measures in these areas including collecting and recycling rain water. • Palliside is manufactured using RoHS compliant material and the raw materials are sourced from an ISO 14001 accredited supplier. • Setting targets to improve our environmental performance and measuring our performance against those targets to minimise our carbon footprint. • Benchmarking our performance against similar companies externally and within the Aliaxis Group. • Publicly demonstrate our commitment to the environment and continual improvement by adhering to the ISO 14001 standard which is a commitment to reducing the company’s impact on the environment. • Member of the NZ Plastics Sustainability Initiative launched in 2003.
These programs have considerably improved the resource and energy efficiency of our manufacturing operations. They will also ensure ongoing improvement in the environmental performance of our products.
