For early flowering sow in a greenhouse or indoors at approx. 13-15°C (55-60°F) 3 seeds per 10cm (4") pot, 13mm (½") deep. (Germination 10-20 days.) Acclimatise to outside conditions and plant out in May. Alternatively sow direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed-free soil where the plants are to flower, 13mm (½") deep. Remove growing tips after 3-4 pairs of leaves have developed to promote more flowers. May also be sown September-October in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse to over-winter.
