Sow the seed thinly in pots or trays on a windowsill in a propagator or in a greenhouse at approx. 10-15ºC (5060ºF), 3mm (1⁄8") deep in a good quality, moist seed compost. Germination takes 14-21 days. Transplant seedlings, 5cm (2") apart in trays and grow on. Plant out in May after acclimatising to outside conditions 12-15cm (5-6") apart. Alternatively, sow June-July, direct outside in a moist, weed free soil 6mm (¼") deep. Thin to achieve a final spacing of 12-15cm (5-6"). Plant out in the autumn.
HELPFUL HINT Very cold tolerant so is ideal for autumn sowings and spring flowering. Quality Control: This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high germination. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place. Important: F1 Hybrid seed is expensive to produce and should be handled with care.
