LOCATION: Gyms around the Omaha Metro Area ENTRY FEE: $150 per team. (Multi Team discounts and Organizational discounts available) REGISTRATION: Deadline is Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Entry is on a first-come, first-serve basis. You are not in the tournament until we have your entry fee in hand. No refunds after registration submitted. A $75 fee will be retained if the event is cancelled due to weather. Limited to the first 200 teams! Entry Fee's Payable to: Team Nebraska Youth Sports C/O Scott Hammer 3532 North 152nd Ave. Omaha, NE 68116 Divisions: We will have multiple divisions for all age groups and different levels of teams. We match teams to play similar competition. BRACKETS: Brackets will consist of four (4) to eight (8) teams. All teams are guaranteed three (3) games. Although very rare that we need to, we reserve the right to combine two grades or divisions if necessary to complete a bracket. However, we will not combine grades or divisions without talking to the coaches first. LEAGUE GAMES: Please let your league scheduler know you are in a tournament on these dates. They will typically not schedule you for a league game (or please request a week night game or a game time after 5 pm if you are in a Sunday league). We will do all we can to work around your league games but with 200 teams it is not guaranteed. NOTIFICATION: Schedule will be emailed out by Monday, January 8, 2018. Teams not accepted will be notified at the earliest date possible. FRIDAY NIGHT GAMES: Games will be played on Friday night starting at 6pm (usually local teams). AWARDS: Awards will be given for 1st, and 2nd place in each division. ADMISSION: Daily admission will be charged. $6 for adults, $4 for students, children under 5 are free. (Weekend Passes will also be available) PLAYERS: Players must compete in their grade classification. Exception: Younger players may participate in older divisions. Players can compete on only one team in their division or grade. If incorrect information is provided, the player and team may become ineligible. GAME RULES: 2 - 20 minutes halves - running clock. Clock only stops during time-outs, injuries, and the last minute of each half on all whistles. All teams must have numbered jerseys. Teams may press up to a 30-point lead. Game time is forfeit time. Each team is allowed two full time-outs per half. No carry-over. Overtime: 2 minutes with one time-out. Clock stops last minute. If a team is leading by 20 points or more in the second half the clock does not stop except on time outs. (Game will be called if winning team is up by 20 points or more with 2 minutes to go) HALFTIME: Shall be no longer than 5 minutes. At least a five-minute pre-game warm-up will be given unless games are running behind schedule. No games will start before their scheduled time unless agreed to by both coaches. BEHAVIOR: Two flagrant fouls (fighting, etc.) or direct technical fouls during a game on any player, coach, or team representative will result in their disqualification for the rest of the tournament.
