Dri-Sulfur 42 is designed to help supplement sulfur levels in your soils. Dri-Sulfur 42 rapidly disperses once it comes into contact with moisture. Usage Instructions For Agricultural Usage: Dri-Sulfur 42 should be applied in the spring or early summer. It can be blended or applied with dry products. Rain will assist in dispersing through the soil structure. • Sulfur has been shown to: - Help develop enzymes and vitamins - Promote nodulation for N fixation by legumes - Aid in seed production • Sulfur is necessary in chlorophyll formation. • Sulfur does not attach to clay or organic particles, it remains in the soil solution and moves with soil water.
For Turf, Commercial, and Lawn & Garden Usage: Dri-Sulfur 42 can be applied in fall or spring. It may be applied prior to seeding or sodding new turf by treating the soil surface prior to planting. It may also be applied to established turf and lawns. Dri-Sulfur 42 is best applied in the fall after the last mowing, or in the spring prior to green-up. Dri-Sulfur 42 can be used in gardens by treating the soil prior to transplanting or direct seeding, or by treating the soil around existing plants from the base to the edge of the drip line.
Application Rates
Apply at a rate of 10 to 20 pounds per acre depending on soil type and sulfur requirements based upon your soil test. Light, sandy soils may require heavier applications. Fertile, loam-type soils may require lighter applications. Dri-Sulfur 42 may be mixed with most granular applications or other dry products including animal manures. When applying as a mix with other granulated products, ensure even distribution by mixing thoroughly before application. For smaller areas, apply 1 pound per 4,356 square feet for standard applications and 2 pounds for heavier applications. Consult your local dealer for recommended rates for your particular region, soil type, and specific usage.
Storage and Handling Instructions
Store Dri-Sulfur 42 in a dry place. During periods of high humidity, take precautions such as the addition of a drying agent during mixing or application to prevent clumping. Do not mix with other products which contain high levels of moisture. Do not mix or apply while raining. Prior to application, do not expose product to rain. Failure to follow these precautions may cause clumping or cause Dri-Sulfur 42 to adhere to spreading equipment.
Limited Warranty
Monty’s warrants that this product meets its manufacturing specifications. If it does not, Monty’s will, at its option, replace the product or refund the purchase price. In no event shall Monty’s be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages or for damages in the nature of penalties. Monty’s shall not be liable in any way for claims resulting from any use of this product which is not in strict accordance with all directions, cautions and warnings on the label or labels.
