SOWING AND GROWING

Sow thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm soil at a depth of 13mm (½") in rows about 30cm (12") apart (Germination 10-14 days). Thin as necessary to leave 25-50mm (1-2") between plants. Grows best in a sunny position in soil which has not recently been manured. Leaves may be used like spinach. Once harvested, remove tops by twisting. Roots may be stored in sand for later use. Sowing ➞ Cropping – 12 weeks.

HEALTHY EATING Leaves are as nutritious as roots – rich in Beta Carotene, Calcium and Iron. Quality Control: This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high germination. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place.
