Sow thinly March-June into a finely raked seedbed at a depth of 13mm (½") (Germination 7-12 days).Transplant with a trowel when large enough to handle allowing 30cm (12") between plants and 38cm (15") between rows. Can also be sown Jan-Feb in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 10-15°C (50-60°F) using a quality compost. Cover seeds with 6mm (¼") sieved compost. Transplant seedlings singly into 75mm (3") pots, grow on and finally plant outside. Sowing ➞ Cropping – 16-18 weeks.
HEALTHY EATING Do not discard too many outer leaves – highest in Vitamin C. Quality Control: This seed has been carefully tested to ensure high germination. Prior to use, store in a dry cool place.
