ELITE BASEBALL 15/16U Mission: Elite Baseball was founded to give players the opportunity to reach their maximum potential as athletes. Development will be the focus of this program. This program was designed to help baseball players of all ability levels improve through practice repetitions as well as game repetitions. Being from the Lebanon area I understand the frustration of summer baseball in Lebanon county both from the players stand point and the coaches stand point. The players stand point is not being able to play with your potential high school team mates as well as baseball ending in mid to late June. From a high school coaches stand point not being able to continue the development of your players in the summer time due to where each individual player lives. Although this system does drive competition against your friends and potential teammates it does not allow for the players to work together or for the high school coach to continue to help each player in his system. While I support playing for your local summer leagues I also understand the need to work and develop with your team mates at your high school. I believe that we can accomplish both by working with and around the teener schedules in late May and early June. This program would be for 15/16u players from both Annville Cleona and Cedar Crest High Schools. Coach Brown from Cedar Crest and Coach Seltzer from Annville Cleona would be two of the coaches as well as myself and some of my staff from Elite Baseball. These two teams would be Elite Baseball teams and would start practicing at the beginning of June on the weekends. After the Teener season is over we would have practices during the week as well as mid-week games. The two teams would also participate in 2-3 16u tournaments in Lancaster County. We would be looking at being able to play 20-30 additional games through June to the beginning of August. This will be open to all players trying out for their respective high school teams. Playing or not playing for Elite Baseball will have no impact on who does and who does not make the high school teams. Again this program is about development and is open to helping all players. Here is an outline of a potential schedule. 6/2-3 practice Saturday and Sunday 12-3pm 6/9-10 practice Saturday and Sunday 12-3pm 6/16-17 practice Saturday Sunday 12-3pm 6/22-24 16u tourney Lancaster PA
