ATEN KN Trade-In Program Terms and Conditions The following terms and conditions determine the rebate amount, the rebate approval process, and procedures that a customer must follow in order to receive an ATEN KN trade-in rebate. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. • Trade-in value is calculated based on the number of Console Ports and Computer Ports traded-in as described in the Trade UP Instant Discount table below. • The number of computer ports used to calculate the rebate value cannot be higher than the number of ports in the product purchased. • The trade-in rebate can only be applied to the purchase of an ATEN KN series product. Any other product is excluded from this program. • There is no limit on how many KVM switches a customer can trade in. • The rebate may not be applied to the purchase of refurbished, sample, or demo units. • You may only trade-in KVM switches. Other types of network connected devices such as routers, network switches, or serial access devices are excluded. • The rebate must be used for purchases made between February 1, 2010 and March 31, 2011. • This program is valid in the 48 contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. • All shipping and handling costs will be borne by the customer. ATEN will not reimburse any expenses associated with shipping a trade-in unit. • In the event that ATEN denies a rebate for any reason and the customer wants the trade-in product returned, the customer shall be responsible for paying the return shipping fees. • Customer must purchase the ATEN KN series product from an ATEN authorized reseller or channel partner. • ATEN reserves the right to audit all claims and change or cancel this program at any time with or without notice. • Resellers and employees of ATEN are excluded from participating in this program. • The trade-in KVM must be received by ATEN at the address listed above no more than 6 weeks after completing this form. ATEN is not responsible for any lost or misdirected shipments. • In the event that ATEN does not receive the trade-in KVM within 6 weeks of completing this form or ATEN receives a trade-in product that is different from the product described on this form, ATEN reserves the right to reverse the rebate and charge the customer for the value of the rebate that was applied at the time of purchase.
