Optimist members devote, time, effort, and funding to BRINGING OUT THE BEST IN KIDS Proceeds from the Golf Tournament are dedicated to the Optimist Youth Fund activities which include:
1. Camp Bring-It-On, a summer camp for children with cancer held at the Joy Ranch in Watertown 2. Children’s Home Society 3. The Childhood Cancer Campaign 4. Youth Oratorical Contest 5. The Boys/Girls Club 6. Christmas Shopping at the Banquet 7. Junior World of Golf. 8. Fishing derby for kids 7-16 9. “Food-to-you” (distribution of food via Charis 10. Respect for Law to honor those who serve in law 11. Highway beautification (maintain two miles of highway 11 south of Harrisburg)
