Program Dates Saturday Mornings January 10th and 24th February 7th and 21st March 7th and 21st
Eligibility
Program Features
Developmentally appropriate activities centered on motor development skill and technical soccer skill acquisition.
An extension of the City of Petoskey Parks and Rec 1st/2nd soccer curriculum.
Any boy or girl in the Petoskey
area who is currently enrolled in first or second grade. Program is open to the first 25 boy and 25 girl registrants.
Time All Boys - 10:00-10:45 All Girls - 10:45-11:30
Location NCMC Gymnasium
Cost $25 includes all six sessions and a t-shirt.
What to Wear?
Athletic clothing and dry indoor gym shoes.
Developmentally appropriate groups.
Professional Instruction
A safe and positive learning environment.
Exercise!
Fun with and without a soccer ball including: - Tag games - Dribbling games - Passing/Receiving games - Skill testing - 1-on-1 Duals
- 3-on-3/4-on-4 games

PYSA Director of Coaching and Player Development NSCAA National Coaching License Goalkeeper - Alma College Members of the PYSA’s Petoskey Breakers (girls) and Petoskey Lakers (boys) High School Club Teams will serve as assistants.
PYSA History The PYSA is one of the largest non-profit youth sports organizations in northern Michigan. Founded in 1985 the PYSA sponsors over 15 boy’s and girl’s teams u10 - u18 that participate in the Northern Michigan Soccer Alliance and the Michigan State Premier League. The PYSA also hosts two annual tournaments at the Click Road Soccer Complex that each attract over 125 teams to the Petoskey area. For more information please visit www.petoskeysoccer.com
