Regan Seidler Better Letters: 3 Hours to Improving Business Communication Preparing concise, high-impact documents that achieve results is essential for business success. This workshop focuses on the elements of clear, concise and efficient business writing. In particular, attention will be spent on developing very professional written communications that will help you construct better proposals, emails, of course better letters and more for your clients and business contacts. This includes time spent on proper grammar, punctuation, formatting, and proof-reading.

Alyssa Daku Strategies for Process Improvement: Coping in the Hybrid Record Environment In the first part of this half day workshop Alyssa Daku, MPA, CIPP will explore the challenges organizations face in trying to manage the “hybrid” record—paper and electronic. She will examine how the information landscape is changing with the introduction of new technologies, social media, paperless work-places, and cloud services such as Dropbox, Flickr and Google Docs. In the second part of this workshop participants will dive into how process improvement strategies and tools can help manage our information and workflow more effectively. The focus will be mainly on Lean and Sigma Six methodologies. This will be a hands-on and interactive workshop for all levels. Come prepared to engage, challenge and innovate!
