INTRODUCTION This is a manual on how to replace/install the low beam lights on a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. The headlight is held by clips, therefore there is no need for any other tools aside from the actual bulbs. You will have a better range of light at night in about 5 minutes.

Step 1 — Headlight

 Make sure vehicle is turned off and has cooled down before starting. 

Open the hood of the truck.



Remove pin from the top of headlight casing.

 Make sure to put pin in a safe place so it does not get lost. Step 2



Tilt the headlight away from the bumper and towards you.



Unplug the blue clips on the back of headlight which hold the lightbulb.



Twist the light bulb counter clockwise and pull it out carefully from the casing.

Step 3



Insert new bulb.



Make sure to twist the bulb clockwise after inserting so that the long part is facing down.



Connect the blue clips onto the bottom of the lightbulb.

Step 4



Put the headlight casing back into the bumper.



Make sure that the casing is aligned correctly before inserting the pin.



Put pin back into the holder and twist it so that it is flat.

Step 5

 For better efficiency replace the other low beam, therefore one is not brighter then the other. 

Enjoy your new headlights.
