Camp Director: Steve Widdowson Widdowson is heading into his 3rd year as Head Coach of the Millersville Marauders. In his first 2 years at the helm, he has compiled a record of 29-11-2. Widdowson has guided the program to new heights as the team broke the school record for wins in 2008 going 18-3-1. Widdowson was named the PSAC East Coach of the Year for the 2nd year in a row, and was named the Division II Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. Widdowson is also the Assistant Coach for the USL Division 2 Harrisburg City Islanders, where he is entering his 6th year. In 2007, Widdowson helped the team win the USL Division II National Championship by defeating the defending champion Richmond Kickers.

Widdowson has earned a USSF ‘B’ and NSCAA ‘Advanced National’ License. He has also successfully completed the NSCAA Level II Goalkeeping Diploma.

Ranked Millersville team is coming off their best season in school history where they set the school record for wins. Other achievements included going 10-0 in the PSAC East, PSAC East Regular season champions, PSAC Championship Runner-up, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history becoming Atlantic Regional Champions and advancing to the Elite 8 before falling in PKs.

Prior to his coaching career, Widdowson played at Rutgers University, where he led the team to the 1994 NCAA Final Four and claimed the Atlantic 10 Championship while setting the school record for starts in a season. Widdowson also played professional soccer in the USL for 5 years.
