Step 1 — Fuses

 Make sure the vehicle is turned off before you attempt to do any work on it. Working on fuses can lead to electrocutions so please take the necessary precautions. 

Open the hood by pulling on lever by driver's feet.

Then push latch under center of hood to unlock it.

Step 3

 The various electronic parts in the car require different fuses. Make sure you insert the correct fuse into the correct slot. Consult your user manual. 

Consulting your user manual, identify which fuse corresponds to the electrical system that has been displaying the problems. For example, if your electric window opening system has stopped working, consult the user manual and identify which fuse corresponds to the electric window opening system.

Step 4

To remove a fuse suspected of being damaged, grip the selected fuse tightly and pull it straight up.
