TRIAD RECREATIONAL HOUSE POND LEAGUE PROGRAM

Mission 

The Triad Recreational House Pond League Program, a joint youth recreational hockey program between GYHA and WSYHA, is intended to give all children the opportunity to play hockey in a true learning environment. The program provides a grassroots foundation for the growth of youth hockey in the Piedmont Triad area, and is aimed at increasing participation and improving skills of youth hockey players.

GOALS

The goals of the Triad Recreational House Pond League Program are: - Allow kids the opportunity to develop the fundamental skills to play and enjoy the game of hockey. - Introduce and reinforce the concepts of teamwork and good sportsmanship.

PURPOSE 

The Triad Recreational House Pond League Program addresses the need for an established recreation level youth ice hockey league in the Piedmont Triad area. By establishing a recreation league program, we intend to:



- Increase participation in youth hockey



- Build a base for future growth of hockey in the Piedmont Triad
