Black cherry, cheesecake, warm blackberry, plum and black currant in the nose with french vanilla, clove and cinnamon spices. A hint of new oak with toast, charred wood and dark chocolate. Beautiful, lush dark fruit, black cherry, huckleberry, cooked strawberry, atop a core of bright acidity and rich oak notes. This is wine is pure enjoyment and a pleasure to enjoy on its own, but would also pair well with dishes like foie gras stuffed ravioli, pancetta pasta, seafood risotto, duck, porchetta, roasted black cod, etc., etc. A stunning effort.
