Stage 2 (Sunday morning, July 1, 2012) Luray Caverns Time Trial Staging Area: 101 Cave Hill Road, Luray, VA 22835

Course Description: The Luray Caverns Time Trial is an all-new course that begins and finishes at the top of Cave Hill Road, which will be well-known to participants at the annual Luray Caverns CX race at the Luray Valley Museum, located directly across the street from the Luray Caverns main parking lot. The first participants take off at 7:30 AM; start times will be made available as quickly as possible on Saturday, June 30. The top 10 finishers in each category will receive time bonuses in the Tour of Page County Stage Race. Expect a challenging out-andback 9-mile course with a number of hills that traverse roads immediately to the north of the Caverns and the Town of Luray. Although it would be cool, please note that this event doesn’t start from within the Caverns and climb a steep incline to the surface – but don’t worry, it’s still a great course. Individual stage prizes match the prizes listed for the road race. See the technical guide for more information.

Stage 3 (Sunday afternoon, July 1, 2012) Luray Criterium Staging Area: West Main Street, Luray, VA 22835

Course Description: The grand finale of the weekend features the same crit course as in year’s past. This is a 0.8 mile loop featuring eight 90-degree turns and a steep short climb to the finish line, with various opportunities for time bonuses over the course of the race. This is a technical course that was designed by the promoter to exact revenge on flat-lander sprinters. Sign-in is required for all participants at least 30 minutes prior to race start. Individual stage prizes match the prizes listed for the road race. For more information, check the technical guide. Category
