Cherry hard candy, raspberry jam, torn basil, crimini mushroom and exotic spices on the nose. Very inviting and would call to mind an incredible pairing with Peking Duck à l’orange! Cranberry compote at Thanksgiving, cherry jam with basil and orange rind, cinnamon and tamarind, rhubarb. Delicious and what a gorgeous texture, lush and rich with fresh acidity. Amazing wine and very complex. Not to make the comparison, but it really reminds me of a village Nuits St. George from Burgundy in a classic year. Beautiful!
