2017 YHS Baseball Youth Summer Camps Each camp session will focus on individual skill development such as catching, throwing, fielding, and hitting. Campers will have multiple opportunities to work on developing and improving their skills in a fun, learning environment using age-appropriate drills. Camp will be run by YHS Varsity Baseball Coach Scott Luken and members of the coaching staff along with current and former players from the YHS baseball program. Session #

CAMP COST: $50 per camper (please make checks payable to “YHS”) The registration fee includes individual and small group instruction and a camp T-shirt. CAMP LOCATION: Camp will be held rain or shine at the YHS Varsity Baseball Field, located at 119 W. Somonauk Street (just east of the Academy). WHAT TO BRING: glove and bat, water bottle or sports drink, gym shoes (required) and baseball cleats. Emphasis will be placed on structured, well-supervised activities to prevent injuries. Basic athletic training will be available for minor injuries. Should any injury be deemed serious, the coaching staff will immediately notify a parent/guardian at the number listed on the registration form below. Camper will receive the size t-shirt indicated above (if registered by May 30). Replacement or resized t-shirts may not be available if registered after May 30. As the parent/guardian of __________________________________, I hereby grant permission for my child to participate in the YHS Summer Baseball Camp. I also acknowledge that my child is physically able to participate in the camp activities. I realize that insurance is not provided, and therefore, I will assume all risk of injury. Registration is due by Tuesday, May 30. Late registration will be accepted through the first day of each camp session; however, we cannot guarantee T-shirt size.
