INTRODUCTION The intent of this style guide is to encourage visual consistency in the use of Boston’s name and logo on all brand applications. These guidelines apply to all creative pieces including print, TV, outdoor, online and digital media. Boston’s continuously strives for brand consistency, and it can be achieved through proper use of our trademarks, logos and style guide. A concerted effort among Corporate, Company Restaurants, Franchisees, and affiliated third parties will strengthen the brand name and increase recognition.

BOSTON’S LOGO The Boston’s primary logo is a unique graphic representation designed to quickly communicate the name and brand associated with Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar. The logo’s color scheme and proportions should never be altered under any circumstances. Its approved configuration, as displayed on the following pages, should be maintained in all applications. When an unauthorized variation of the Boston’s logo is used, it confuses the logo’s visual effectiveness and weakens the brand’s identity and is, in most instances, a violation of the Franchise Agreement. Boston’s reserves the right to modify, change or otherwise alter the Boston’s Corporate Logo at any time we deem appropriate.

UNACCEPTABLE USE OF THE LOGO The logo should NEVER be altered, manipulated or distorted in any way. Additionally, unique creation of a logo for Boston’s is never permitted.

Do not stretch, skew or rotate the logo unless specified in the style guide.

Do not change or alter any of the logo’s colors unless specified in the style guide.

Avoid placing text or graphics on the immediate vicinity, behind or in front of any part of the logo.

Never crop or rearrange any part of the logo unless noted in the Style Guide. Do not display Boston’s without “the Gourmet Pizza“. On Kids pieces, “Restaurant & Sports Bar” must be left off.

Do not apply any type of stroke, bevel, emboss or inner glow to the logo. In situations where it is absolutely necessary, a drop shadow or an outer glow may be placed behind the logo. Never use the logo in a sentence, headline or any body of text.

Do not use the logo over a background that renders it unreadable.
