2014 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Dear Friends of Delgado Baseball,
For the past forty years, Delgado Community College’s baseball program has been one of the top programs not only in the state of Louisiana, but in the nation. As the first junior college athletic program in the state, Delgado prides itself on its family atmosphere, its image, and its tradition of excellence. Through the years, the Delgado Baseball program has served as a stepping stone for hundreds of local athletes to reach the next collegiate level, both academically and athletically. Last season, Delgado captured its seventh Region XXIII Title in the past eight seasons and advanced to the NJCAA South Central District Championship, where they closed the season as one of the Top 25 teams in the nation for the third year in a row. The 2013 Dolphins were ranked in each national poll of the season, even being recognized as the #1 team in the nation in the final regular season poll. We look forward to building on this momentum once again this season and continue to bring national exposure to Delgado Community College and Southeast Louisiana. Friends, fans, and alumni can speak first hand of what Delgado Baseball means to the community, how well it serves its student-athletes, and how it continues to impact the lives of many of our area’s athletes and their families, year after year. Recent state and college budget reductions promise to impact our program at its current operating level. In order to continue the long standing tradition that has become Delgado Baseball in its current state, we are offering several sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming season. By participating in our Dolphin Donors program, your donation will help in defraying the program’s operating costs, including game day expenses, team equipment packages, travel, and other expenses all while showing your support for the Dolphins. Based on the program’s high visibility at both a local and national level, we’re sure that your company would enjoy the exposure such a sponsorship would carry along with it. In addition to Delgado, Kirsch-Rooney Stadium also hosts more than three hundred games each season. The website utilizes the latest in athletic communications to keep fans as up to date as possible and features live statistics, player and staff bios, program history, recent news stories, and more.
