2014 Spring Call Up Process
SPRING 2014 Call-Up Process All AA & Minors HCs will solicit approval from 2nd Year player parents for placement on ‘call-up’ list AA & Minors Commissioners will finalize Call-Up lists prior to regular season games Process to call up player(s): o HC e-mails both his and “lower” league commissioner requesting CU, with minimum 24 hours notice, and specific time and location of game o AA/Minors Commissioner contacts player parent(s) on his CU list, in order, but skipping players with game conflicts, until a CU is confirmed by parent o “Lower” league commissioner confirms via e-mail to requesting HC, his commissioner, & parents which player(s) are confirmed, time & location they are expected o It is the responsibility of the HC to contact the call-up if a game is cancelled AA & Minors commissioners must continuously ensure equal number of call-up games per player before allowing players additional call up games In extreme circumstances (no parent notice, illness etc), a 1st year player may be used as a call-up ONLY IF safety is not a concern and AT LEAST one commissioner approves prior to game
