TERRIER TEAM CAMP DATE: JUNE 21-22, 2014__ ________________________________________________________________ Camp Information: This camp is open to Varsity, JV, or Club Teams, Grades 7th-12th (10 player maximum per team) Location: Benjamin Johnson Arena Cost: ($150.00 Nonrefundable Deposit) $600.00 per team (Meals and Housing included) $350.00 per team (No housing, Meals included) $300.00 per team (No housing, No meals) *All Coaches must submit a background check or pay $30 to have one processed at Wofford College (will last 5years) *Please submit your deposits at least 2 Weeks prior to camp for to ensure the best game scheduling possible. Each team will play in at least three games against teams of similar ability. Each team is responsible for providing their own transportation to Wofford, as well as to and from gyms during camp. Parents and friends are welcome to observe each game. A certified athletic trainer will be on-site. Each player will receive a t-shirt at the end of camp. Head Coach Edgar I. Farmer Jr., and staff will provide a “Chalk Talk” session for any coach or player that wishes to attend to discuss topics such as “Playing At The Next Level.” Those who select an option with meals included will receive four meals that will either be held in the Wofford cafeteria or catered in to the gym. Registration will take place in the Benjamin Johnson Arena from 12-2 PM on June 21st.

Camp Information: This camp is open to boys and girls grades 1-9 Location: Benjamin Johnson Arena Cost: Half Day: $125/ Full Day: $175 ($30.00 Nonrefundable Deposit) Day camp provides campers with an enjoyable learning experience, and an understanding of offensive and defensive basketball fundamentals. Campers benefit from individual instruction from Wofford Head Coach Edgar I. Farmer Jr. , his staff and Wofford student athletes. Campers are grouped according to age, size and ability so that each camper may compete in a league best-suited to develop her talents, and to ensure enjoyment and improvement during team competition. Daily schedules include skill-development stations, team drills, league games and individual competition. Lunch will be provided for full day campers.

Camp Information: This Camp is open to Grades 9th-12th Location: Benjamin Johnson Arena Cost: $100.00/ $175.00 to attend both sessions ($50.00 Nonrefundable deposit) *An additional charge of $50.00 if you want to attend both sessions and need to stay overnight in the dorms. This camp is designed for high school players who are looking to improve their skills to the highest level. Campers will work on position-specific skills and team skills to improve their game. The camp will provide drill work, and competition throughout the day. Lunch will be provided and each camper will receive a t-shirt and the end of the day.

Additional Camp Information________________________________________________________ Medical Insurance: Campers are required to have proof of insurance prior to attending camp or will be required to purchase camp insurance. Meals: Lunch will be provided every day of each camp. You will either have one all-you-care-to-eat meal in the Wofford cafeteria or you will have a catered lunch brought in. Medical Attention: Full-time trainers are on duty to administer minor injuries or illness. Spartanburg Regional Medical Center is also available. Security: Counselors (coaches and student athletes) will supervise campers at all times. Wofford College Campus Safety will provide security on campus as well. What Should You Bring: The following clothing and equipment is recommended: basketball shoes, shorts, t-shirt, socks and medical necessities. If you are staying overnight please bring sheets, pillow, blanket, towels/washcloths, personal items, and medical necessities. (We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.) Overnight Accommodations for Team and Elite Camp: We will have dorms available on campus for an extra charge. *Wofford Women’s Basketball Camps are open to all and any that are interested in participating.

The Edgar I. Edgar I. Farmer, Jr., is entering his 10th season at the helm of the Wofford women’s basketball program, and his 12th season on the staff overall. Farmer joined the Wofford women’s basketball staff for the 200203 season, spending two years as an assistant coach before being hired as the head coach on July 20, 2004. Prior to Wofford, Farmer was an assistant coach for two years on the East Carolina women’s basketball staff. His other coaching experiences include being an assistant coach at the junior college level, as well as a head coach at the AAU level. In his nine seasons as head coach, Farmer has helped revitalize a program that went 0-28 the year before he was hired. In 2007-08, Farmer led the Terriers to their first Southern Conference Tournament victory since 2002. A year later, the Terriers boasted one of the nation’s leading shotblocking teams, while the 2005-06 squad led the nation in steals. Many Terriers have entered the Wofford record books and been awarded Southern Conference athletic and academic accolades under Farmer’s watch, and, in two of the last three seasons, Wofford has earned a first-round victory at the Southern Conference Tournament. Under his coaching, Wofford has never been afraid to face a challenging schedule. In 20122013, the Terriers faced and defeated the University of Alabama. In 2009-10, the Terriers faced Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Kentucky out of conference and came within 10 points of defeating UK on the road in January. A year earlier, Wofford nearly upset Wake Forest, falling by just two points. Farmer is a, 94 graduate of the University of North Carolina, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in African-American studies. While in Chapel Hill, he was a member of the junior varsity men’s basketball team. After graduating, he was an assistant coach under Randy Wiel for the Tar Heel junior varsity squad. In 1993-94, he was the audio-visual technical coordinator for the national champion North

Carolina women’s basketball team. Farmer filmed practices and games and assisted in the film breakdown. Farmer and his wife, Tara Farmer, were married in July of 2011 and reside in Spartanburg. They welcomed their first child, Kalan Gabrielle Farmer, on May 25, 2013.
