2014 UBE Youth Convention and Annual Meeting
2014 UBE Youth Convention and Annual Meeting Schedule Sunday, June 29, 2014 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Registration
4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Youth (13 – 18yrs old) Meet and Greet – Introductions include gathering with old and new friends while playing games, creating prayer space, signing up for workshops and discussing the service project, exhibits and activities occurring during the UBE Convention and Annual meeting. Chaperones and Youth leaders will also meet at this time. Forty minutes will be dedicated to reviewing the history of the NAACP in print and film in preparation for the keynote speaker. Writing journals will be distributed.
7:00 p.m.
Opening Eucharist - Prayer and fellowship among all attendees who have registered. We welcome all participants and celebrate our Convention theme: Renewing our commitment to the work and ministry of social justice.

Keeping the Faith – Other Isms and Clicks 5. Social Media – Being Connecting / Maintaining character All Youth Attend Option 6 – self esteem & awareness session 6. Boys to Men (Young Men Only) Girl, Power & Praise, GPP (Young Women Only) * Each Session Includes Spoken Word Poetry
