Head Coach Jim McLaughlin Over 13 seasons at Washington, Coach McLaughlin has taken the Huskies from the bottom of the Pac-12 to a perennial national contender ... Has recorded a remarkable 324-87 (.788) record during his tenure, with 12 consecutive NCAA tourneys ... 2004 National Coach of the Year ... Four-time Pac-12 Coach of the Year (2002, 2004, 2005, 2013) ... In 2005, in his fifth season at Washington, guided his squad to its first NCAA title, winning every postseason match by 3-0 sweep, the first D-I school to do so in history ... Won UW’s first Pac-10 title in 2004 and repeated in 2005 ... Added a third Pac-12 title in 2013 with an 18-2 record ... Kept the Huskies in the AVCA Top-10 every week from 200409 ... Led UW to eight Sweet 16 appearances, seven Elite Eights, and four Final Fours ... His players have earned 31 AVCA All-America awards since 2001 and 58 All-Pac-12 honors ... Spent four years as the head coach at Kansas State, leading the Wildcats to an 82-43 record and advancing to the NCAA Tournament all four years ... Was the men’s volleyball coach at USC for seven seasons, compiling a 142-75 (.654) record and winning the NCAA title in 1990 ...
