Parade Line Up Begins 11:15 a.m. Parade Starts 12:00 p.m.
Participants must be in line by 12:15 p.m. to take part in the pregame parade
General Information
Parade participants will line up on First Street, SE along sidewalk next to Nationals Park beginning at 11:15 a.m. Coaches will escort kids through Nationals Park service tunnel onto warning track in centerfield, parade will move clockwise around field. No food or drink will be sold on First St, SE sidewalks. Please plan accordingly with bottled water and snacks. Parking information available at nationals.com/waytogo. Navy Yard Metro (green line) is ½ block from Nationals Park. In the case of inclement weather, the parade will not be held as the grounds crew will be preparing the field for the game.
Don’t Forget!
In conjunction with the Nationals’ Youth Baseball and Softball Day festivities on Sunday, May 18, the Nationals will be collecting new and gently used baseball and softball equipment. Fans are encouraged to donate baseballs, softballs, bats, batting gloves, catcher’s equipment, youth batting helmets, bases, baseball pants and other useful equipment outside of the Center Field Gates from 11:00 a.m. until the end of the fourth inning. The equipment will benefit D.C. Parks & Recreation and D.C. Public Schools.
